Media transcoding for streaming
Video is transcoded to H.264/AAC/M2TS via HTTP Live Streaming.
Transcoding is performed under the following conditions:

    Video format not encoded as H.264 in MKV/MP4.
    TrueTheater video optimizations have been applied.
    The bitrate of the video is higher than the decoding capability of the target device.
    Audio is transcoded as AAC.
    Photos are converted to JPG.
    HEVC video in MKV/MP4 format is transmitted to a device other than Chromecast Ultra, Roku Box 5th Gen, Fire TV Box 2nd/3rd Gen, or Fire TV Stick 2nd Gen.
    VP9 in WebM format is streamed to a device that is not Roku Box 4th/5th Gen.
